Curatorial Storytelling, & Show Production

A visionary proposal for the Singapore New Science Centre, ZAP reimagines electromagnetism through a sophisticated "edu-tainment" model designed to bridge the gap between classroom physics and high-impact sensory experience. Targeting secondary school students, the concept explores the fundamentals of electricity through an atmospheric architectural narrative, utilizing dramatic lighting and dark-box aesthetics to transform the gallery into a living circuit.

Arterial’s strategy balances digital simulations with analogue kinetic interactives, encouraging self-discovery through a calibrated mixture of study and play. Central to the experience is a layer of visitor customization, allowing for a personalized journey where individual agency culminates in a daily site-wide spectacle. This synchronized show transforms the entire environment into a collective performance, where visitor interactions directly influence the exhibition to demonstrate the power of electrical force and human impact.
